Luanda — Women united in scientific research: "an assumption for technological development and innovation" is the event that will guide the 7th activities under the celebration of March-Women, to take place on Thursday in Luanda by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
According to a press note from the referred ministry that reached Angop on Tuesday, the event aims to disseminate women's participation in the activities of Science, Technology and Innovation (CTI) and the practice of scientific research and technological development in Angola.
On the other hand, the meeting aims to promote gender equality which constitutes the third goal in the universe of eight major Millennium Development Goals, established by the United Nations.
The event will be attended by the incumbent minister, Maria Cândida Pereira Teixeira.
