Saykor said from the over One thousand persons tested over the last three years, only 350 HIV patients are currently on drugs at the hospital.
"The hospital is only treatment 350 HIV patients out of the over One thousand we have tested to be HIV positive," Saykor added.
Saykor made the disclosure when he represented Phebe Hospital at the end of a retreat for concession companies and government funded institutions in Bong last week.
Saykor attributed the action to the fear of being stigmatized in the community. "I think they are being afraid of the stigma associated with the virus," he said.
The current figure, however, depicts how the number of people infected with the virus in Bong has skyrocketed in the stint of one year.
Dr. Sampson Arzoakoi, former medical director of C.B. Dunbar hospital in Gbarnga last year admitted that Bong was paying host to 150 HIV patients when he addressed a youths in Gbarnga.
