The minister of Family and Women Promotion, Genoveva Lino has appointed a technical group from the sector to monitor, support and capacity building of family counselling centre.
Under the 10-Janauary decree, signed by the incumbent minister, the creation of the referred technical team comes from the need to speed up handling, transfer and solution of the conflict-related cases resulted in domestic violence.
Angop learnt Thursday that the measure is mainly intended to reinforce and equip the technicians in their intervention.
According to the decree, the coordinator of technical group is the director of the Legal Office of the Ministry, Maria Idalina Vieira.
The team comprises Maria Mpava Madina, assistant coordinator, Lizette Neto António Neto, sociologist, and José Laurindo, head of department of provincial department of Family in Luanda.
The heads of National Department of Women's rights and national department for family policies, Maria Madalena Pontes Figueiredo, Alberta Laurinda Domingos, respectively, Laurindo Quintas Ambriz Francisco, jurist, and Cristóvão Miguel Francisco, focal point of
Angop also are part of the team.
