Staff of the second infantry division of the northern military region of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) Wednesday in Malanje were informed about the Law Against Domestic Violence, during a lecture sponsored by the provincial department of family and women promotion.
The theme was lectured by the assistant chief of the provincial department of justice, Larissa Fernandes Felix Joao, and aimed to shed light on the soldiers aspects embedded in the law and discourage violence in homes and in society.
During the dissertation, the official explained that the Law Against Domestic Violence is a legal instrument that has constitutional enshrinement in order to prevent some cases, protect victims and punish the practitioners as well as promote respect and human dignity.
