Sociologist Manzambi Samuel on Tuesday, in Luanda, stressed that domestic violence in Angola is a social issue that worries the government and the society.
In an interview to ANGOP, during an act of divulging the law on domestic violence, the sociologist stated that reduction of cases is important to transform the minds of people, retrieve educational values and positive cultures in order to give higher dignity to families.
According to Manzambi Samuel, poor economic conditions and fight for survival have contributed to the lack of balance in families.
The source considers being important to create minimum conditions, such as food, health, housing, to improve people's living and reduce cases of domestic violence.
