The Ministry of Women, Children and Youth Affairs called on stakeholders to intensify efforts in maximizing the benefit of women and youth.

In a press conference he gave here on Monday in connection with five day exhibition and bazaar due to be opened on Wednesday State Minister Almaw Mengist said realization of policies formulated on women and youth affairs require concerted efforts of all stakeholders.

He said the Ministry is undertaking multi-faceted activities in view of strengthening participation of women and youth in various economic activities.

According to him, the exhibition and bazaar helps showcase artistic produce created by associations and individuals create market link and enhance economic benefit of women and youth.

He said the event would also help scale up best practices and share experiences among participants.

Awareness enhancing training will be offered to participants on innovation, national policies and related legal frameworks.

The Minister called on the public at large to visit the exhibition to be held from April 18-22,2012 at Exhibition Center where 124 women and youth organizations to be awarded
