A unique lineup of bright business minds are set to empower entrepreneurs at the Africa StartUp Cup regional summit in Accra on April 29th 2016.
StartUp Cup is a U.S. Department of State – led accelerator programme which supports growing of companies and startups that provide solutions to problems across the globe. Now in over 68 countries worldwide, Africa’s regional presence commences its maiden regional summit on April 29th at the Alisa Hotel.
The panel consists of business experts from varied backgrounds, ranging from technology to entertainment, as this year’s summit looks to celebrate the best of African innovation, reveals the organizers.

Speaking at the official launch ceremony of the Africa StartUp Cup, Jimmy Maudlin, the Economic Counsellor of the US Embassy in Accra, said that: “The spirit of entrepreneurship is dear to President Barack Obama, the US Embassy in Accra, and the American people”. He further mentioned that the US Embassy is proud to have StartUp Cup as an Official partner of the US State Department’s Global Entrepreneurship Program.”
