Namibe — The governor of the south-west province of Namibe, Rui Falcão de Lucas, Monday here considered the women as the right bet for development of the Angolan economy.

Women's commitment to economic development stressedThe governor was speaking at the opening of 10th National Meeting of businesswomen.

Citing the banking records, the governor said that women are among those who honour their commitments with the banks when they receive credit. To this purpose, he said, they are the right "bet for the growth of the economy in the country. "

According to Rui Falcão, the Angolan women set the example of creativity and patriotism, a fact that has motivated national entrepreneurship to be stronger and more cohesive.

The 10th National Meeting of businesswomen is scheduled to end Wednesday.
