The Angolan Government will this year implement various programmes aimed to improve the living conditions of rural women, said on Saturday in the south-western Namibe Province the writer, Ana Maria de Oliveira.
Ana Maria de Oliveira, who said so at a meeting on International Women's Day, mentioned that women who live in various communities of the country have been the guarantee of continuity of the family, developing tasks such as domestic and farming duties.
"There are women in Namibe Province who engage themselves in various activities like fishing, agriculture, and cattle-breeding who have hard living conditions", she said.
On the other hand, the writer called on all Namibe women to continue working towards better conditions for their families, homes, valuing their habits and customs.
