She said during the raining season they cultivate rice, but the heavy rains and the birds destroyed their farms. She said that the stakeholders and the Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) should try and help them, because they are in need of their support for their survival and the rebuilding of their poor Market. She finally added that she is appealing to the authorities to support them.
According to Sanna Fatty, resident of Kaiaf, a farmer, the women in Kaiaf lack support with regards to their Market. He said the people are poor and therefore cannot rebuild the Market on their own. He said that they are willing to add their quota to ensure that their Market is renovated for people to use it to increase their income. He said that their survival is hard and they find it difficult to have enough food to eat. He then added that he is appealing to the general public especially the government to be aware of their situation so that they could be given the needed support.
