Source: UNESCO UNESCO and the NGO "Femmes de demain" will invite a group of outstanding women leaders/entrepreneurs from Africa. Through their testimonies, they will provide key information on current and future trends in Africa in the priority areas of UNESCO (gender equality and Africa). The aim of the round table is to highlight the important role that African women leaders can take on, both in the private and the public sector in regard to the future emergence of Africa in all areas of society, particularly with regard to the promotion of inclusion and human rights of women and girls. The event will also provide an opportunity to inform and sensitize UNESCO’s Member States and civil society on partnership opportunities in Africa beyond the traditional areas of collaboration.
