Hosting an International Women's Day event that promotes the empowerment of African women? Taking part in a International Women's Day celebration in Africa? Share it with us!

In Celebration of International Women's Day on March 8th, Make Every Woman Count will be creating tracking women’s events across the African continent. Visitors can access an event database on our website that highlight women’s events being held in Africa and in the Diaspora.

With your help, we hope to crowdsource a comprehensive resource list of all of the activities occurring during International Women’s Day, as well as highlight them on an interactive map so that we can see the impact. We believe that this initiative will give African women and supporting groups a strong, united voice. We aim to show how African women are reshaping the future by creatively engaging with their communities to improve their lives and the lives of women worldwide
