Monrovia — The mother of a fifteen year old girl who gave birth to a triplex in Camp 4 in Nimba County is calling on the government and philanthropic organizations to help provide support for the children.
Madam Koo Lekpah, the grand mother of the triplex confirmed to our Nimba County correspondent that her daughter Kou Dahn gave birth to the three babies at the Yekepa camp-4 Clinic.
Madam Lekpah lamented that since her daughters' pregnancy, the father of the babies is yet to be seen, following several calls and efforts to get him.
She is also appealing to health related organizations, the Liberia government, non governmental organization and well meaning citizens to come to her aid to ensure that the babies are in good health.
According to our correspondent in the county, the mother of the babies along with her parents are said to be living by charcoal as they found it difficult to get food.
But report say the birth of the three babies is a good news for the country, but since the 15 year old girl gave birth, government and others organization are yet to been seen for the past weeks.
Our correspondent said the mother of the babies have been living in a poor condition prior to the birth of the babies.
The Analyst Newspaper was informed that since people enter into 2014, this is the first time for the country to get News of a triplex.
