Luanda - A delegation of the Organization of Angolan Women (OMA), headed by its secretary general, Luzia Ingles "Inga", travelled Thursday to Brazil, where they will participate in the XV Congress of the Women International Democratic Federation (WIDF), running from 06 to 12 April in the city of Brasilia.
Speaking to Angop at the airport, Luzia Ingles announced that the meeting will be attended by representatives from Africa, America, Europe and Arab countries and will be held under the theme "Women all over the World, Building Fair Peace, with rights of equality and Development ".
According to the official, as OMA is a member of WIDF at the level of the African continent, she takes to the event the report of all activities undertaken during the last five years in favour of the Federation itself.
For this purpose, he explained, were prepared some documents to be discussed with the other women's organizations, in particular dealing with "Aggression, Imperialist Occupation and its Challenges", "Capitalist Crisis, its Impact on Women", "Climate Change and Food Security "," Building World Peace "" Racial Ethnic and Cultural Diversity "," Gender Equality ", among others.
According to the secretary-general, to Congress, the OMA will offer, in particular, subsidies to issues related to "Aggression, Imperialist Occupation and Your Rights" and the "Climate Change and Food Security.
