Source:AngolaPress The Mass Media minister, Carolina Cerqueira, Thursday in Brasília stressed the political agenda of the Angolan Government that aims to allow women greater participation in the development, implementation and monitoring of development strategy in the country. Carolina Cerqueira was addressing participants at the 10th Conference of the International Federation of women in Legal Careers (FIFCS) running from Monday in Brazilian capital.
Another aspect that shows that participation of women in development of the country is increasing she highlighted the current composition of National Assembly that has a woman as one of its vice speakers as well as various committees of the Angolan legislative body are headed by women deputies.
The Angolan minister of Social Communication is a lawyer currently. She chairs the Board of General Assembly of FICFJ. In the country is a member of the Association of Women in Legal Careers (AMCJ).
