The two ministers, Hajiya Zainab Maina and Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi,who were sworn-in on Saturday, with their 12 other colleagues but were not assigned to any ministry, have been assigned their portfolios.
Hajiya Zainab Maina is to run the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development while Oduah-Ogiemwonyi heads the Ministry of Aviation.
At their swearing in by President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday,the ministers were directed to report today to the Secretary to the Government, Mr. Anyim Pius Anyim, to be assigned.
But, in a statement, Anyim said, President Jonathan had approved their assignment of portfolios.
Mrs. Oduah-Ogiemwonyi takes over the Ministry of Aviation from another woman, Mrs. Fidelia Akuabata Njeze.
