Political Participation & Leadership

Men showed tremendous variation in their gender related attitudes, with India and Rwanda showing the most inequitable attitudes. As a measure of men’s and women’s gender-related attitudes, IMAGES applied the Gender-Equitable Men (GEM) Scale. Rwandan and Indian men consistently supported the least equitable norms among the settings studied.
