Between November 7th and 9th 2007, African women's rights activists from East, West, Southern and Central Africa gathered in Johannesburg (South Africa), to discuss and strategize on resource mobilisation for women's rights work in Africa. The meeting was jointly convened by the African Women's Development Fund, the Association for Women's Rights in Development, Action Aid International, Urgent Action Fund-Africa and the International Network for Women's Funds.
